RAGUSA , DONNAFUGATA; PUNTA SECCA, MODICA AND SCICLI
The Commissioner Montalbano emerges from the imagination of Andrea Camilleri, a Sicilian writer. Today the character is famous for several television series adapted from Camillieri’s novels. Montalbano is now famous across Europe not only for the lovely temperament and humanity which the main character shows, but above all for the places where the action is set. The town of Vigata is fictional, but you can find all the locations in the real towns of Ragusa or Modica and Scicli. The beautiful home where Montalbano lives by the sea is actually a lovely B&B along the coast of Ragusa.
